Art

At Lake Norman Christian School, we believe creativity reflects the heart of our Creator. Grounded in the theme Created to Create, our Visual Arts program invites students to discover, develop, and steward their God-given creative abilities while growing in artistic skill, confidence, and appreciation for beauty.

Our Christ-centered, studio-based curriculum provides students with meaningful opportunities to explore a variety of artistic techniques, media, and forms of expression. Instruction builds a strong foundation in artistic skills and encourages students to think creatively, communicate ideas, solve problems, and pursue excellence in their work.

More than creating art, students discover how creativity can be an expression of worship, a way to communicate truth, and an opportunity to serve others - all while using their unique gifts for God’s glory.
